La diffusione dei dispositivi mobili sta rivoluzionando l’esperienza d’acquisto.
I consumatori utilizzano smartphone e tablet alla ricerca di offerte e sconti, comparano i prezzi di beni e servizi.
Guardando alle abitudini degli americani, se da una parte la TV HD rimane di gran lunga il dispositivo più diffuso (nel 2013 l’83% la possedeva), lo smartphone è il mezzo con il maggiore trend di sviluppo: nel 2009 lo possedevano solo il 19% delle persone, nel 2011 si è passati al 44% e nel 2013 al 65%.
E cosa acquisteremo nei prossimi 6 mesi? Smartphone ovviamente.
La ricerca Nielsen è molto chiara in questo senso: sul totale della popolazione americana il 30% cambierà telefono entro i prossimi sei mesi e se guardiamo solo alla fascia d’età 18-24 saliamo fino al 49%.
A seguire computer (per il 26% degli intervistati e il 32% dei giovani), console per videogiochi (per l’11% del totale e il 26% dei ragazzi), poi tablet ( 8% e 14%) e e-readers (4% e 5%).
Quasi la metà (il 47%) dei possessori di smartphone visita i social media ogni giorno.
Con il rapido sviluppo di questi dispositivi, come ben sappiamo, il rapporto tra social e mobile si fa sempre più stretto.
Tra il 2012 e il 2013 abbiamo visto una diminuzione del 10% nell’accesso ai social media da computer, a fronte di un incremento del 37% dell’accesso da app e del 26% dal mobile web browser.
